Still the most useful item in the toolbox is a good quality Model Knife.

The Razor Saw is constantly in use at the Shop, not just for mitreing but everyday jobs like cutting brass, wood,  dowels etc.We normally use the 54 teeth to the inch blade but coarser blades are also available.

The red No 5 Handle can also be used on its own as a heavier duty knife with a range of blades available to suit.

The Mitre Box is used in conjunction with the Razor Saw. This one is made of metal and as well as the normal 45 and 90 degree markings the base is grooved to take strip wood and hold it firmly. The mitre box has one side with a lip so that it can be held securely against the worktable.

The Pin Vise is mainly used when installing lighting to a Dolls House.

We use it to drill the holes for the eyelets for the copper tape or, if like us you, prefer the round wire system we use it to drill the holes in the ceiling and back wall for the round wire to pass through.

The Pin Vise is supplied with double ended collets to take a number of drill sizes though you will only normally use the 0.5mm 1.0mm and 1.5mm drill bits
